The Aboriginal Early Childhood Education Diploma is awarded to recognize the successful completion of the equivalent of 2 years of full-time study. In addition to the suc-cessful completion of the AECE certificate (48 credits), stu-dents are required to take the second year courses (46 cred-its) as prescribed below for a total of 94 credits. A minimum GPA of 2.33 is required for graduation.
Admission Requirements:
- Grade 12 Diploma or Mature Status (19 years)
- AECE/ECE Certificate
- Medical Reference form from AECE
- Immunization Record form from AECE
- A professional letter of reference from an individual working in the childcare or education field.
